Narcotics cops Mike Lowrey (<a href=">Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (<a href=">Martin Lawrence) head up a task force investigating the flow of ecstasy into Miami. Their search leads to a dangerous kingpin Johnny Tapia (<a href=">Jordi MollĂ ), whose plan to control the city's drug traffic has touched off an underground war. Meanwhile, things get sexy between Mike and Syd (<a href=">Gabrielle Union), Marcus's sister. Two loose-cannon narcotics cops investigate the flow of Ecstasy into Florida from a Cuban drug cartel. This movie was very entertaining. It had me wanting to watch all the way until the end. It was about 30 minutes too long I'm afraid though. There were many times that I thought there were scenes that could have been cut and still made this movie funny and with great action. Some of the parts were a little overacted as well. All in all I thought this was a good film and I will watch it over and over again for a few scenes. It does have some horrible language in this movie so do not let you kids see it unless you don't care if they repeat what they see. Check the movie out if you are of age. It's a good film. I love action films. I get delighted with huge explosions, bullet-time shootouts, stylish fights, colorful photography and overlong car chases. I liked Matrix Reloaded. I love John Woo movies. I liked Bad Boys II and I like Michael Bay sense of graphic filmography.

I do understand that things I like do not like everybody but no way I understand people going to a movie WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT HE'S GONNA SEE. Didn't you know, haters of "mindless action", that you were going to see Bad Boys II, a MICHAEL BAY MOVIE? C'mon!! If you don't like action movies, second parts, and whatever you are always complaining, STOP GOING TO SEE IT (and stop bothering us so you went to see it and want your money back). Try "The Cat in the Hat" or "The Passion of the Christ" instead and you won't need to regret later on the IMDb.

Bad Boys II has two obvious purpouses: enjoy action lovers and make a few laughs. Nothing more and nothing less.

Racist? Black cops, Hispanic cops, White Captain, Cuban druglord… Multiculturality at its best. Jokes are part of the fun.

Gore? It's not R-rated for the music played. Wake up. Even that, there's not much gore. I'm sure that all of you that complain about the gore are big fans of CSI, ER…

No plot? I prefer to say "light plot". And you know what? I didn't buy this movie on DVD for the plot. I bought it for the action. If you want plot, look on Kubrick filmography.

Too long? I never get bored of seeing car chases and shootouts. The longest, the better. Thank you, Mr. Bay.

Crude Humour? Yes, crude humour, and what? Remember the R-rated? We all make crude humour every day at home, at the office, at April Fools and no one seems to be worried about that. We shouldn't complain about the jokes made in a movie whose only purpose is to make us forget we are living in a world that is in war.

Violent? Of course. Action without violence is like a day without light. If you don't like it, go to see Steve Martin movies.

They blow up a village of poor people? Nope. That "village" was a make-up for a massive cocaine factory without inhabitants. If anyone was injured was a criminal, not the poor people. (Tito explains it before crushing the village).

Michael Bay has offered us a very stylish movie, with non-stop hyper-kinetic action scenes, beautiful scenery (two helicopters flying at sunset, the blue water with the yellow sun, the fire reflected everywhere…), cool camerawork (haitians house: superb, russian rave club: spectacular), amazing car chases (Kudos to Cadillac for the advertisement strategy), humour (the conversation between Mike and Marcus in the audio/video store were hilarious "And You, Mo**erF*****s, need Jesus" :D ) and very good music (Russian club, rap theme).

A movie made for enjoyment. 9/10 Have fun!

> Though the picture has a generic quality, it also has an ingenious amount of anything-goes that's amusing and frequently exciting. You'll laugh out loud, you'll hide your eyes – but you'll roll them. too. Nevertheless, it's a fun, if blood- and sun-soaked, ride.
